Patsy Hughes

This short devised piece for Music Theatre 4 Youth is a collage of sights, sounds, songs and poetry from Belfast by Belfast people drawn from the last one hundred years. Both areas of Belfast are now mere shadows of their former glories – the Shipyards are all but gone and the residential area that formed such colour around the docks and known as Sailortown was wiped out by urban roadworks in the second half of the twentieth century.
